For the last lot of years I've used Saturday for sharing some of the great work of my customers. Well, there won't be any more of that! In fact, the Customer Gallery page will be taken down in the next few weeks because I don't think it's right for me to keep that page now that I'm shutting down the business. So, now would be a good time to take a look at a lot of inspiring projects! Going forward, I'm going to use Saturday for my crochet updates and my first project is this baby blanket. I've finished 1 skein of 4. The interesting thing about this one is that in the first skein the green turned brighter about halfway through the panel. This is a new project that I started. It's going to be about 40" wide and maybe 60" long and will be a donation blanket. It's going to be stripes in dark blue, medium blue and white. I've made this pattern a couple of times before. Here's one of them. It's a fast one!

I just perused the customer gallery - such a great idea - and enjoyed seeing so many beautiful quilts and artwork. It must be satisfying to look back and see so many fabulous pieces created with your fabric!

I like the way the green changed colors. I think that it will add some nice tonal variation to the blanket. I just wonder if that will happen with the other skeins.

Of course you know I'm partial to the blue! Comments are closed.
