I'm finishing out the month/year with a couple of small projects. The first is a set of placemats. I was cleaning out my postcard supplies and found that printed fabric and decided to whip up some placemats. I love how they are coming together and I should have these done next week.

On the crochet front I wasn't ready to start a big project so I decided to spend a couple of weeks just making chemo hats. I have a few more to do and then I'll post about them in the next week or so. I have a lot of notes that I need to write up so that I can remember these when I make the next batch of hats.

That's about all of the excitement around here this week and it's just the way I like it!

Those placemats are "all that" for sure. I love the colors, hand dyed fabrics with printing (that I am guessing you did) and what looks like gradient dyes. Yes those are lovely.

Vicki, what a beautiful quilt, using the colors and layout you are making the placemats from, would be. I think it would be stunning. We have a big snowstorm heading our way tomorrow, not such a good beginning for the New Year. Here's hoping this coming year will be somewhat better than this year. Happy New Year to you and Chris.

Love the placemats. You are so generous with your talents and creativity. Looking forward to more in the coming year(s). 2022 is the year I will allow myself to finally cut & sew some hand dyed fabrics. Happy New Year
