One of my December goals was to finish 80+ postcards. I may 83 Christmas cards and 8 birthday cards. - Bind three veterans quilt - Quilt 6 veterans quilts - Quilt and bind the farm quilt - make pet beds On the quilting sewing front, my goals were: - Bind three veterans quilt - I did 2 - Quilt 6 veterans quilts - including my 2, I quilted 3. I just didn't have more to quilt - Quilt and bind the farm quilt - it's quilted - make pet beds - 4 pet beds made and delivered Finally I wanted to dye some t-shirts and tea towels for Christmas gifts and boy did I! I dyed 2 sweatshirts, 9 kids shirts, 6 long sleeved shirts for my brother, 4 JMU bandanas and 16 tea towels. Here are my year end stats: Quilts - 2 Veterans quilts made - 10 Veterans quilts quilted - 56 Fabric Postcards - 116 Pet Beds - 14 Quilted for others - 3 Crochet blankets - 4 Crochet shawls - 4 Crochet/loom knit hats and scarves - 24 Placemats and Table Runners - 14 Potholders - 63 Dyed shirts and towels - 29 Other Donated items - 232 Garments (sewn and cochet) - 1 Balls of yarn used or gifted - 57 The only serious goal I have for January is to finish and deliver the Fab Farm quilt. I return from my trip on January 6 and we leave 2 weeks later for a trip to Tucson. That will be another cross-country trip. I expect that my primary accomplishments for January will center around crochet. But I'm not putting any pressure on myself. Whatever gets done will be good. One final little tidbit. I keep my empty cones and spools of thread through the year in the hopes that my vast thread stash will actually reduce in size. I bought 2 cones of thread this year (blue and cream) for veterans quilts but I emptied y cones and 3 spools. So, I guess, that's something.
On the yarn front, I used or donated 57 skeins of yarn and bought 16. Not bad.

Well done! You've had a creative year. Have to say I love the picture of the empty spools...now I wish we could figure out something to do with them!

I know many keep track of how many spools of thread used throughout the year, I have never done that - maybe this year - if I remember!!

Ha ha, while you were reducing thread stash, I used a gift card and ordered some threads that I "needed" for my embroidery machine. (FYI, they work for quilting also.)

Love all the dyed items & cards. The dyed blue/green item with the letters, L O A, and white circle around them, appear to have what looks like an eagle getting ready to land on the white circle to me!
