It's not an actual finish but this is my main accomplishment for October. I am so happy to have this quilt top done and hopefully I will get around to quilting it by January.
My only 2 finishes were crochet finishes. One is the summer cardigan and the other is the baby blanket that I just finished on Friday. Crochet is probably going to be a big theme for November too because I can do it while sitting and chatting with my visiting friend. Plus there's lots more football to watch.
I used up 10 balls of yarn during October. Not bad.
The only other accomplishment is this veterans quilt top that I pieced at sewing with my quilt club.
It was a good month.
My goals for November are:
- make Christmas postcards
- make sample quilt tops for Paula Nadelstern.
Both of those things are going to take big time investments so I'm leaving the list simple.

I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
