It's not an actual finish but this is my main accomplishment for October. I am so happy to have this quilt top done and hopefully I will get around to quilting it by January. My only 2 finishes were crochet finishes. One is the summer cardigan and the other is the baby blanket that I just finished on Friday. Crochet is probably going to be a big theme for November too because I can do it while sitting and chatting with my visiting friend. Plus there's lots more football to watch. I used up 10 balls of yarn during October. Not bad. The only other accomplishment is this veterans quilt top that I pieced at sewing with my quilt club.
It was a good month. My goals for November are: - make Christmas postcards - make sample quilt tops for Paula Nadelstern. Both of those things are going to take big time investments so I'm leaving the list simple.

Piecing that quilt was a big job and now it is done! We were both focused on a big project in October, but still managed to get a few other things done. I would say you had a great month! 11/3/2022 08:45:05 am
Wow Vicki! Way to stick with it and get your paper pieced top completed. The border treatment looks excellent when the quilt is placed on the bed. Nice work.

I'm currently knitting a pattern that looks quite similar to the one you used for the vest. I'm liking it but managed to screw it up and have to do some of the proverbial rip it's.
