Our quilt club sewing days were delayed a week so I'm ready to be away sewing with my friends for 2 days. No surprise, I'm going to be working on veterans quilts. I've got 2 ready to be bound and then I'll work on piecing the 2 rail fence tops. I got the strips sewn last month and ironed them yesterday. I expect that I might have all of these done by Saturday afternoon. I'm packed and ready to go! Meanwhile, I didn't get much done yesterday except for washing out the dyed fabrics. Mom and I ran errands for a few hours yesterday. I have been working on the new blanket and finished the first skein. I absolutely love how this is working up! Once I got the first skein done I was able to calculate how much I needed to finish it and promptly ordered 3 more skeins. This BagODay pattern is very easy and stitches up fast. When I get home tonight I'll be putting together all of the prize packages for next week's drawings!

I can '[hear' the excitement over having some stitching time with your friends. Alas, still not happening here. I do get together with two different friends once a week now and take my knitting along.

The BagODay pattern is really looking good in that yarn. Chris will have a lovely blanket.

I will be nice to stitch with some friends. The blanket is going to be so cool! I like the wavy look. Comments are closed.
