The cold that I picked up while on my trip turned into a nasty sinus infection a few days ago. But, thanks to some antibiotics, I am finally on the mend! I felt good enough yesterday to even visit my sewing room and work on the binding for the farm quilt. This cute quilt is going to be delivered today to stat it's life as a fundraising quilt for the Montpelier Center for the Arts and Entertainment. I also found the energy to dig around for a button to finish off this wheelchair cape. This was my road trip project. I got it started with 2 rows of crochet before I left and I finished it the last night of the trip. I've made 3 shawls with this yarn in brown and 3 in blue. It was a cotton/acrylic blend that I got on sale a few years ago. The yarn feels great but the patterning really annoyed me. I'm glad it's gone and glad it will bring someone warmth.
Now that I'm starting to come back to life, it's time to start packing for the next trip that will commence either Monday or Tuesday.

Bring sick is no fun, but it is better to be home when it happens.
