I'm not sure what happened but September seemed to go by fast. I'm afraid October is going to be even worse because I have a lot of appointments and a trip this month. But before jumping into October, let's see how September went. I finished 2 veterans quilts, 2 crochet projects, 6 crochet hats and 4 placemats. Not bad but not everything on my list. My goals for September were:
Other things I did in September include:
The biggest accomplishment for September was getting this quilt loaded and getting over my fear of quilting it. As of this morning I'm about 2/5 done with quilting the 1" postage stamps. This quilt will be done in October! After finishing 2 projects last month I then started 3! There are 2 blankets. The one in the middle is with a bulky yarn and it causes a lot of strain on my hands and that's why I started the other one in 4 weight yarn. I switch between the two. The thirds project is a chemo hat. This is a carry along project for quilt club meetings and such. I like to start them at home with the first 3 rounds so that it will be easy to pick up and continue. The pattern is the Divine Hat, just google it and you can find the free pattern on Ravelry and a video tutorial on YouTube. Here's a closer look at the bulky yarn project. I'm doing corner to corner. It's going to be a very squishy and soft blanket and really, really warm.
Here are my stats at the end of September. Starting UFO 8 Finished YTD 4 Started YTD 2 Ending UFO 6 Other major projects - 1 Veterans quilts made - 4 Veterans quilts quilted - 50 Fabric Postcards - 21 Pet Beds - 9 Quilted for others - 2 Crochet blankets - 7 Crochet shawls - 2 Crochet/loom knit hats and scarves - 28 Doll outfits - 7 Placemats - 12 Pillows - 2 Donated items - 20 Bags and totes - 25 My goals for October are:

I'd say you did a pretty good job of working on your monthly goals. Must admit I don't much like working with bulky yarn (sez I as I have a project upcoming that uses that very thing).

I would say you had a darn good month! My goal this month is to get that t-shirt done and some yard work. The planting beds need cleaned up before the weather gets bad. Comments are closed.
