I'm a day late posting my monthly UFO accounting but I really wanted to share the Crystal fabrics yesterday and I know that most of you don't care about my project accounting. But you might like to see that I quilted 2 more veterans quilts! This was the last pair of quilts that I had to quilt so I wanted to get them finished so I can load that king size Rainbow Quilt next. It's time to quilt some of my own quilts for a while. I wanted fast and I got them both done in an afternoon with simple loops and stars. I load one wide backing and batting and then quilt one quilt right after the other without having to reload a new backing. I pair up the quilts so that I can use the same thread color too. All of those things save tons of time so I can get more done.
As for my project accounting my only finished are 6 veteran quilts but I'm not bothered by that because I made such great progress on other fronts. I got the applique quilt center all together and all 4 borders glue basted and I got the mosaic part of my wall done. I just need to grout it and I'll have a giant finish for March. The applique quilt might be done March 2020 if I'm lucky. I am going to start 2 or more projects this month....we'll see. Here are my numbers, if you are tracking yours how are you doing? Starting UFO 19 Finished YTD 1 (Goal 11) Started YTD 0 (Planned 6) Ending UFO 18 (Goal 14) Veterans YTD 10 (Goal 40) 3/2/2017 08:55:45 pm
The double pinwheel veterans quilt caught my eye. I had to go find how to make it. But I notice that some of the blocks have borders or partial borders - interesting.
