![]() It's a great day for reporting about my UFO projects because I can finally count The Great Wall as done! It feels like it should count as 10 projects done but I didn't cheat myself. It only counted as 1. Of course I started a new wall section so I'm actually even again. Some day I'll actually finish a project and move on to another unfinished project instead of starting a new one...maybe. To be totally honest I actually started 2 new projects this month. I pulled out the scraps from the Rainbow Quilts and started a new, and totally unplanned project with those. I still don't know if they will be a set of placemats or a queen size quilt or something in between and it doesn't matter. I'm having fun playing with them. On the longarm I've been quilting my ruler class sampler and had to take a break to wait for a new cone of thread (can you believe that?). While it was off I loaded and quickly quilted 2 veterans quilts. Both were done in my super fast Wavy Crosshatch.
Here are my stats at the end of April: Starting UFO 19 Finished YTD 3 (Goal 11) Started YTD 3 (Planned 6) Ending UFO 19 (Goal 14) Veterans YTD 12 (Goal 40) I'm OK with these numbers. I have a couple of quilts that will get some quick longarm quilting to get them done and the new wall section shouldn't take 2 years like that last one! If you are tracking your UFO projects you are welcome to leave an update or link in the comments. 5/2/2017 09:38:59 am

Two quilts fully completed this month - both had a deadline, so that definitely kept me on task. One was a wedding gift and the other was a sample quilt for a friend's pattern. Comments are closed.
