Oak Moth Quilt
Hanover Country Life
In the summer of 2024, while on vacation in Maine, I found the Oak Moth quilt pattern by Pen + Paper Patterns. It was perfect to use some of my vintage feedsack and reproduction fabrics. It was fun to make and came together quickly
Here are some close up photos to show some of the fabrics that I used
It's quilted with a pantograph called happy Times using So Fine and Innovatech threads.
In an effort to use up more of the vintage fabrics I pieced the back with 42 different feedsack and reproduction fabrics.
I used a modern reproduction fabrics for the binding because I felt it was more sturdy than a feedsack fabric. Since this quilt wasn't made for anyone specific, I used a sew-in label.
It's washed and crinkly and ready to find a new home.
