108" x 108" piece of hand dyed cotton fabric with a thread count of 80 x 80 threads per inch.
The first photo shows the entire piece. The second photo is a detail.
This is an ice dyed piece of fabric. The fabric is arranged in a bin and covered with ice. The dye is applied on top of the ice. As the ice melts the dye eventually reaches the fabric. This technique gives a lot of texture to the fabric.
