Quilts from 2006 and older
I got my APQS Millennium quilting machine in August 2005 so much of 2006 was spent learning the machine. In 2005 I quilted about 6 quilts for the Katrina effort and have no documentation of any of them. That's probably a good thing because my quilting was horrible! These were the years when I transitioned from garment sewing to quilting and I was all about production. Finishing Kathy's quilt in 2005 was a huge turning point for me. It was a hard quilt to make so getting it done got me through a lot of skill hurdles and finishing it got a huge cloud lifted.
