Monkey Baby Quilts
This quilt was for a coworker and she picked the monkey fabric as the theme and picked yellow because she didn't know what she's having. I've been wanting to get these fabrics for a long time and I was glad to finally have a reason to buy them!
I designed this quilt so that I could fussy cut the little monkeys for the pinwheel blades and all of the fabrics are from the Monkey'n Round line. It's 46" square
Here's a close up view of one of the blocks and the border. I used one of the stripes cut on the bias for the binding. The backing is one of the larger monkey prints on mint green flannel. It's quilted with an overall free motion swirl using Superior So Fine thread (light yellow and green). I LOVE this quilt and can't wait to give it to her Monday.

I made these 2 baby quilt tops with the scraps. They are both about 29 x 35. The big squares in the one on the left are cut 8" square. Everything else is 3" squares or 3" strips.
