I made this as part of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge in 2014. This quilt was made as a twin bed bedspread for the guest house.

I freemotion quilted this one fast. Very fast. I did this 3-legged zig zag in each block and oriented it with the strip in each block.
This is where I distinguish blankets from quilts. I know that a lot of people get upset when someone calls a quilt a blanket. I take the word blanket as a compliment. To me it means that someone has adopted that quilt as their comfort quilt or blankie. Blankets get quilted differently than quilts. This quilt is a blanket. More accurately it's a bedspread for the guest house. I wanted it to be soft and snuggly and that's exactly what it is.
Blankets don't get Zentangle labels.
