The Three Generation Quilt

In September 2009 my Mom came to visit and quilted 4 quilts for her in a weekend. One of the quilts was one that I quilted for her in the Baptist Fan pattern. I love this quilt. Partly because it's red and partly because it represents 3 generations of quilting women in the Dove family. My Great-Grandma made the blocks, Mom pieced it and I quilted it. We have been working on finishing up several of Great-Grandma's quilts and Mom has been giving them to various family members. She came for a brief visit this weekend and brought this one back to me to hang in the guest room!
