Two more applique blossoms means that the 3rd border is half done and I'm 57% done with the border applique. More playoff games this weekend means I should get more blossoms done. I've also been working a little on a new batch of postcards and doing some testing of thread colors for the "Lost My Marbles" quilt. I'll share both of those over the next couple of days. For the second time since we moved here almost 20 years ago, our pond froze solid over the last 2 weeks. It was thick enough to walk on. After the snow we saw fox tracks across the pond. It should be totally melted by tomorrow. These two photos are of the river behind our house, the South Anna River. I took them from the bridge as I was taking Mom home the day after it snowed. I've never seen this much ice/snow cover on the river before.
I'm glad we've had the wood stove to help supplement the heat for the house.

I smile whenever you mention your percentage completed because I do exactly the same thing. I even do it with books I'm reading.

The weather is so messed up all over the world and so many scary things happening everywhere. Good thing you have that wood stove! Comments are closed.
