The quilting is done on the postage stamp quilt! I took this photo yesterday evening so the lighting is crap. The point is that it's off the quilting frame! I have to inspect the back and make sure I don't need to make any repairs, but otherwise it's ready for binding! Here's a sneak peep at the back where you can see the quilting texture. The fabric is much darker than it shows in the photo but you can see the miles of continuous curves that I've been working on.
That's all the news that I have for today.

Congratulations!!! You waited all these years so you could do that amazing quilting to finish it. This is a BIG finish and it is beautiful.

That's a lot of postage! (suggested name for your quilt). Seriously, it turned out great and the quilting looks great too. Congrats on finishing a long time UFO.

Wow - simply wow. I love the continuous curves (aka orange peels) and use them frequently (always without marking). Your quilt is fabulous!

Wow you have it done already! That is a lot of quilting and it looks fabulous! Good job getting this far. Binding and a label and then you can stick a fork in it and call it done!

I really like ( what I can see) the thread color choice in the black open spaces!

Wow, that is intricate and beautiful. Your completion of complex projects and UFO's is impressive. For several reasons I have not quilted (or sewn anything) since before COVID. I am just beginning to be interested in it again.

It's no wonder it took you longer than usual to quilt this one. The detail, when seen from the back is intense! You're going to love this one on the bed I think.
