An applique milestone
Thanks to some extra internet data from our ISP, Chris and I have been watching a bit of Netflix the past couple of months so I haven't had to wait for football season to make progress on the applique borders. Thanks to some Longmire episodes last week I finished the first border for my applique quilt!
Each border has 10 blossoms and once the borders are done there will be 4 corner blossoms to do. Here are the last 2 blossoms. I'm now 22% done with the borders!
Here are a few more of the blossoms from this border. I have the second border out and ready to start on this week, hopefully.

it is amazing what we can accomplish in hand work while watching/listening to Netflix - I have gone through so many shows, some I have watched more than sewed, others I have listened to and got a lot of work done - I can not seem to get much accomplished if I don't have background noise

That is interesting. I get more done in handwork while listening to an audiobook. Video tends to make me veg out. With an audio book, my eyes and hands need to be occupied.
