I thought I'd get more done on this last week than I did but I think I took the word "vacation" literally last week and I really mostly relaxed. Before I left for the river I got the 4 corners basted in place so I was ready to stitch.....when the mood struck. As you look at this remember that this is the center and it will be on point. Once I get the 4 corners done I'll be able to add the rest of the blocks. I finished one corner... ...and started another. Maybe I'll make more progress this coming weekend.

I love your applique. I cannot get myself to applique, I just don't like doing it- it is like wallpapering to me- just slips out all over the place. I like the big stitch quilting, so I am doing some handwork.
