Yesterday I spent time starting to organize my new glass workbench (and then ordering a half ton of more glass). Today I'll be sewing with my Country School Quilter friends. I'm going to try to do something with the scraps from the Quilt of Valor that I finished last month.
Last night we checked in on the Chickadees. We think there are 3 of them and they are super cute.

I love chickadees. When I visited my inlaws in North Carolina, they were amused that I got more excited about them than the Cardinals. :) 5/13/2016 03:38:11 pm

Your fabric is absolutely gorgeous Vicki. And the birds are so cute. I consider following you aesthetic therapy rather than time wasting. :) 5/13/2016 06:51:48 pm
I cannot believe all the wonderful things you are doing, with fabric, glass and mosaics. Do you have, like, eight arms and two heads, or what???? LOL

I would like to have dinner with Betsy Ross. She made the American flag so I am sure she was a great quilt maker. I am having lots of problems and perhaps she could help.

I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here. Categories
