It's always fun to go to a quilt show and my friends and I went to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show last weekend. Hanging with my friends is fun, shopping is fun and looking at the quilts is always fun. But this year there was a bonus of seeing 2 quilts made with my fabric! The first one is made by Sally Stokely using a Color Wheel Stash Pack. The second is by Kathy Sevebeck and uses fabrics that she won in one of my blog giveaways. I've included a photo of the artist statements.

Now you know how I felt when I saw Lura's Choice at Quiltfest New Jersey. I'd followed its creation on your blog and Gradmother's Choice on Barbara Brackman's blog, so The quilt was like an old friend. 3/3/2018 07:50:40 pm
Both are fabulous but I am partial to the color wheel quilt. Fun! 3/4/2018 08:01:31 am
I love them both. The Colorful Curves quilt sings with rhythm as the main design idea. The Zipper quilt is a delightful use of zippers in both traditional and non-traditional settings 3/4/2018 08:56:18 am

You must have been thrilled to see your fabrics in use. Interesting to read the zipper history. Comments are closed.
