Jan Underwood has made a quilt that I've been thinking about doing. She used the Black Gradient with another fabric in a bargello pattern. I love how the organic pattern in the gradient creates more subtle value changes in the gray and black areas so that the color section really pops out. She ordered more of the black gradient so I hope we will be treated to another of these gradient bargello quilts!
I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
