Sometimes I dye fabric for the shop and it doesn't turn out quite right and that's the case with this Reflections fabric. It's a 2 yard piece and I was almost distraught when I made a big mistake with it.
Arrrrgh! I got a few blue splatters on it while it was batching! I can't sell that fabric.....but I can give it away. It's a perfectly goo piece of fabric but it has a few of these spots on it. But with 2 yards to work with you can easily cut around these.

That is a pretty piece of fabric even with the blue splatters. I am sure someone making an art quilt could use those and turn them into birds. 8/27/2019 10:22:31 am
I think this fabric looks like a beautiful sunrise. I love the color!

Personally I love the splotches. They would add a little bit of interest to a flower petal or a seascape. I love what you think is a oops, we find it exciting.

This fabric makes me think of sherbet, and I love sherbet. What fun to incorporate it into a quilt.

It's such a pretty fabric for patchwork or applique. I've wanted to leave a comment for some time to tell you that I'm glad you still blog. My favorite way to follow quilters is with feeds in Old Reader (which is like getting your newsletter), so I never miss your posts. And I see you on FB too. Thanks for sharing.

Love the soft tones and the added texture with the purple sparkles. Thanks for your generosity in offering it up for a prize.

The blue splatters look like birds flying across a sunset. This would be beautiful pieced into an art quilt. Thanks for the chance to win! Comments are closed.
