I've got a little factory going making a dozen sets of bowl hot pads. I was going to post some tutorial links but as I made my first prototype I realized that they wouldn't hold up well to frequent washing. So I've made some mods and will post my own tutorial tomorrow or Friday. I think they are going to be nice gifts!

I've seen these and thought they would serve a good purpose, but had reservations about how they would stand up to frequent washing. Will be interested to see your solution! 12/13/2018 08:25:06 am
Nice! I have three or four in my kitchen I use them a lot! They are perfect for microwave oatmeal, and soups.

My guild was going to make them for sale at our next quilt show but cancelled the project after seeing comments about them scorching in a microwave. Didn't want the liability. I made a bunch of them for Christmas gifts too but put a note in them to not microwave them for long periods. Comments are closed.
