This is the last time you have to see this quilt because it's officially done! It even has a hanging sleeve. I'll get a label on it this weekend and it will be ready for the exhibit in September. All of the history and details are on the Goldfinch page but I'll share a few notes/observations:
Don't forget to check out the Gradient sale! The sale ends July 25th!

Congratulations!! You did an AWESOME job, Vicki - it turned out beautifully!. Thanks for sharing your "process" - ;)) 7/22/2023 07:19:00 am
OMG, the Goldfinch is fabulous. I am amazed that you are willing to donate it to such a good cause. Is there any way that they can do an online auction? I'll bet you could get more money for it than you think!

The finish looks great. Your quilting decision on it was spot on and your binding choice was perfect. 7/22/2023 08:20:39 am
I really like it with a binding. It is spectacular. I know what you mean about not feeling attached to it. A lot of the quilts I make are for the process and the challenge and I can part with them.

You have got to be kidding! You're going to SELL it?! How could you!!! I know it should fetch a good price, but how can you bear to part with it? Comments are closed.
