Slowly but surely I'm making progress! I've had a couple of free hours to work on the wall since I last posted. I"m so glad I'm doing the background as I do the beads. Filling the whole wall in with white at the end would have been so boring!
Finishing the top third of the wall was a major milestone and provides a lot of motivation to keep going and get this done this year.
This week is a really busy week so I don't know if I'll make more progress until next week....but we'll see!
All in all it was a good weekend. My jaw is finally better so I was able to get back to doing a bit of quilting and a lot of ironing. I had over 80 yards of fabric to iron this weekend!
I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
