Slowly but surely I'm making progress! I've had a couple of free hours to work on the wall since I last posted. I"m so glad I'm doing the background as I do the beads. Filling the whole wall in with white at the end would have been so boring! Finishing the top third of the wall was a major milestone and provides a lot of motivation to keep going and get this done this year.
This week is a really busy week so I don't know if I'll make more progress until next week....but we'll see! All in all it was a good weekend. My jaw is finally better so I was able to get back to doing a bit of quilting and a lot of ironing. I had over 80 yards of fabric to iron this weekend! 5/7/2018 02:54:53 pm
good lord that is a lot of ironing to do! do you have any idea how much you need to sell at a show? Your wall is looking great!

I have TMJ too, and can't imagine having to hold ice on my jaw... mine causes headaches... and I use ice on my neck!!! 80 yards is some ironing...

I can't imagine ironing 80 yards of fabric every week. The mosaic wall is looking good! How do you know you have enough white for the entire background since I know you scavenge your materials.

I love the flower (upper right)! Glad you're feeling better - but don't overdo on that ironing. Comments are closed.
