Stash Packs are sets of 10 fabrics in Fat Eighths, usually in a theme color. usually people use small bits of fabric but in the case of Copper Flow, Patricia Caldwell used one fat eighth from a Pebbles and Rocks pack to make a stunning whole cloth quilt.
Margaret Griffiths is a prolific quilt artist and also a friend. Both of these quilts use Stash Packs to great effect. The one on the left used Pink, Purple and Green Stash Packs. That Purple Thang mixed a Purple Stash pack and batik scraps to great effect.
Lauren Furey makes custom minister's stoles and she made this stunning one with fabrics from a Dusk To Dawn Stash pack along with other fabrics.
Another friend, and fellow quilt club member, Marcy George, made this art quilt with fabrics from 2 Stash Packs.
I made 3 quilts in this pattern! I started with a king size version for my nephew and his wife, then I made a lap size with the leftover blocks and then a baby quilt with the last of the blocks! I used Color Wheel Stash Packs, several coordinating Stash Packs and scrap fabrics.

I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
