Mom, Anne and I are in Virginia Beach and ready for the quilt show to open tomorrow. We got here about 11:00 yesterday morning and had the booth set up by 3:00. I was really pleased with how quickly it all came together. I am also grateful for their help. I can't imagine doing a show like this along although I did see several people setting up booths by themselves.
Here are the photos you have been waiting for!
I'm very lucky with my booth location. It's very close to the AQS book sales booth and one row off the main row.
Mom set up all of the Crystal fabrics and I think the wall looks great!
This is the gradient wall. The shelves contain Shades Packs, Stash packs, Gradients and yards. It's so colorful!
We are thrilled with the flower wall! It came out exactly as I wanted. These shelves have the Color Wheel and Black fabrics along with some ice dyed quilt back.
We are looking forward to the first day!
I'm Vicki Welsh and I've been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I'm into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
