Red Sunset Quilt

Red Sunset, 97" square

I almost forgot to get the final photos of Red Sunset! I had a nice opportunity yesterday to go outside and get the official photos.

This quilt was made to replace one on the guest bed that's now too short since I added a foam topper to the mattress. I started this in the summer of 2022.

The back is a hand dyed mandala that shows off the quilting nicely.

I have a project page here that has lots of close up photos of the quilting if you aren't already tired of seeing the photos on the previous blog posts.

the back is almost as beautiful as the front of the quilt!! Do you make many of those backings like that? hard to do? it really is amazing

I didn't remember the stripes in the border. That is just spectacular, such great color choices. Now you have 2 sides that can be used depending on the personalities of the guests.

Beautiful quilt! I think my favorite bit is those little aqua slivers in the outer border that seem to move as I look at different places.
As others said - you got a bonus quilt on the other side.
