The first day of the show is in the books and we had a great time! There weren't huge crowds but we had lots of people stop by and still had some time to wander around a bit ourselves. I even got to catch up with an old friend (I used to live in Virginia Beach) for a little while. We hadn't seen each other in years!
I even got to see about a third of the quilts. AQS puts on a nice event and the quilt competition is FIERCE! Here are just a few of the ones that I liked. I don't have the energy to narrate them so I just set then in a gallery so you can scroll through them. I'll have more tomorrow.

There must be lots of inspiration there. Those are all amazing.

I tried to pick a favourite from your gallery and I have to admit that it's impossible. There's something I love about every single one! Glad you had a great time on the first day of the show. Comments are closed.
