The top is done and trimmed! It's ready for getting a facing and hanging sleeve today. I cut around 100 strips and used all but one of them! But once I got it off I actually trimmed a few strips off the left side.(on view 1). I planned the orientation one particular way but now that it's off I'm reconsidering. I have to decide before the sleeve goes on.
Which is your favorite?

Wow - it looks great! I like orientation #1 - it seems more balanced to me.

I prefer #1. The part on the side where the slope is less steep: on 2, it looks like it’s leaving, but on 1, it looks like it’s joining & so it seems more harmonious.

In the minority as alway, I prefer number 2. As we tend to look left to right, I think it "leaves" more gracefully. The start can be sharper, since the piece is so dynamic.

#1 but turned so the piece is vertical. . .reminds me of a path!

I prefer #2. But perhaps you should ask the recipient which he likes best.

It's a bit like an eye exam - #1 or #2, sometimes hard to decide. I like them both, but after a few views, I think I like #2 - it takes off (in a good wat) expanding into the unknown to release more sound waves. Either way will be wonderful. Have a great time at the beach . Comments are closed.
