The Great Mosaic Wall is done!
It was finally warm enough this past weekend to open the windows so I could grout the last section of the wall. It tool 7 hours Saturday but I got it all done! I am beyond thrilled with it. If you want to read about the history and see lots of photos you can check them out in the mosaic gallery.
See those 2 white sections on the right side with the "beads"? That's a hint to the next wall section that I'll start soon!

Wow Vicki - I loved the updates on this but didn't have a feel for how magnificent the total effect would be!

I just perused your mosaic gallery - thank you for posting all these photos. It was such fun to see all the close-ups of the 'blocks' or should I say sections. It would be hard to pick a favorite. This really is an incredible project.

Wow!! I thought I was prepared after seeing all the in progress photos but it's even more spectacular than I expected. I so wish it was someplace public and not in your basement although I know you'll enjoy it.

Wonderful - the whole is certainly greater than the parts - and the parts looked great on their on. I really like the ladybugs on the pipe to camouflage it a bit.

THE GREAT MOSAIC WALL. I can see the book now,..."Travel with me through creative moments and memories...." OK, so now you have a title for your book and it sounds like the descriptions are already written. Just add all those instructions/challenges you also wrote in the blog. I have been fascinated by it along the way these past couple of years and I don't even do ceramic projects. Maybe something to do IF you are ever laid up for a few days. It could certainly fill the time.

LOVE IT!! Even though there are many spaces that are personal to you they still look beautiful and work for everyone. Congratulations on a job well done!
